Path Robotics, an AI-powered robotic welding startup based in Columbus, has successfully raised $100 million in venture capital to fuel its expansion and innovation in the field of automated welding.
Funding Round: The funding round was led by Matter Venture Partners and Drive Capital, with additional backing from Yamaha Ventures, Taiwania Capital, MediaTek, Catapult Ventures, Gaingels, Addition, Tiger Global, and Basis Set.
Purpose: Funds will be used to expand operations and enhance product development.
Founders: Founded in 2023 by brothers Andy and Alex Lonsberry, Path Robotics has developed two flagship robotic welding products.
Client Base: Their systems are already deployed across fabrication shops in the US and Canada.
With this funding, Path Robotics is well-positioned to push the boundaries of AI-driven manufacturing and redefine welding in the modern age.
