Singapore-based semiconductor manufacturer, Silicon Box, has confirmed a successful Series B fundraising round, amassing $200M and achieving a billion-dollar valuation.
- Investor Line Up: Founders and several strategic investors have backed the venture, including BRV Capital, Event Horizon Capital, Grandfull Convergence Fund, Hillhouse Capital, Lam Capital (Lam Research’s corporate venture arm), Maverick Capital, Prasedium Capital, Tata Electronics, TDK Ventures and UMC Capital.
- Funding Allocation: The funding will be primarily dedicated to expand production in its packaging factory in Singapore. The factory, which spans over 750,000 square feet, has been in operation around-the-clock since its inauguration on July 20, 2023.
